ABOUT

Blueleaf Theatre is an ambitious company that stages exciting and bold pieces of writing. We aim to stage new pieces of work in imaginative ways posing questions and challenging audiences' perspectives  on the world we live in. As a company we pride ourselves on working with emerging artists across the industry whether that be writers, directors, designers, or actors. We try and do this in a number of ways, whether that be through our new writing event,  A New Leaf, or simply meeting for a coffee to discuss opportunities and give advice where we can. We also have a full time script submission policy where writers can submit unsolicited scripts, we are then open to meeting to discuss feedback and where appropriate assisting them in getting the project off the ground.

The company was founded in 2016 and debuted with a UK Tour of Dougie Blaxland's That Moment starring Madeleine Gray, receiving  critical acclaim. More recently we have been working with playwright James P Mannion developing and then producing Hedgehogs & Porcupines at The Old Red Lion Theatre and now working with James on a second project. If you have any further questions about Blueleaf Theatre,  feel free to get in touch via email.
